Skincare I Bought this Month (& Loved)

Watermelon Juice Moisturizer by Glow Recipe is just wow. I think I love this cult favorite brand the most because the company was started by two women who worked high profile beauty jobs that up and left to chase their dreams + they really care about what women need and want! Hence the watermelon base. This product is fun and smells amazing! I love using this moisturizer in the morning because it is so light weight and really acts like a Step 1 for primer. I add two pumps in my hands and simply pat my face (no rubbing) so it quickly absorbs. The smell is just as addicting as the effects.

Sitting at a desk all day, walking around town, or traveling, our skin gets out of whack. I keep the full-size bottle of the Caudalie Beauty Elixir spray on my vanity and a travel-size in my purse so I am truly never without it. It smells like a spa in a bottle.  It always delivers the perfect amount of mist (very important when spraying directly on your face). I love this product because I feel like it's a reset without washing your face + a way to feel cleaner while taking care of your skin. I already know this is a product that will be a repeat buy for me.

Tinted Moisturizer Sunscreen is the works. I started incorporating sunscreen into my AM skincare routine about 2 years ago and even though I don't necessarily see the effects of it just yet, every dermatologist around the world has said time, and time again, that we need to wear sunscreen every day, multiple times a day to help our skin in the long run. I started staying out of the sun (bye bye tanning) about 3 years ago and I know in the long run this is going to pay off (it better). I have tested a lot of facial sunscreens but this sunscreen is the best I've ever used. The smell is faint and it glides right onto my skin nicely without leaving an oily residue or coloring issues.

Tatcha Moisturizer: I had just gotten a Clear + Brilliant facial so my skin was super red and sensitive, when I went into Sephora for a makeup haul. One of the workers asked if I had gotten a facial because she wanted to give me a test tube of the Tatcha Moisturizer since it had such healing properties. I used it the night of and it healed my skin faster than regular cell turnover and I was hooked. I went back the next day to buy the full-size! I use about a nickel size amount each night (it's too thick for daytime) and it has healed any chapped skin and helped hydrate those dry patches I get during the summer.
